Bacolod City Mayor Alfredo Abelardo Benitez will convene with officials from RDC-6 and RDC-7 in Manila on February 17 to discuss the implementation of the Negros Island Region (NIR) ahead of its official launch on February 19.
In preparation for the upcoming operation of the Negros Island Region on February 19, Bacolod City Mayor Alfredo Abelardo Benitez, the outgoing chairman of the Regional Development Council -Western Visayas , along with officials from RDC-6 and RDC-7, will convene on February 17, 2025, in Manila.
