'While some LGUs had a one week growth rate, all 17 LGUs had reproduction numbers less than 0.9. This means all LGUs in the NCR are still on a downward trend,' says OCTA.
The National Capital Region's COVID-19 reproduction number , or the number of individuals an infected person can pass the virus to, has inched higher but remains at low-risk, according to OCTA Research's latest report.
"While some LGUs had a one week growth rate, all 17 LGUs had reproduction numbers less than 0.9," said OCTA."This means all LGUs in the NCR are still on a downward trend." Mandaluyong and San Juan are the only two cities with high-risk average daily attack rates, with all other local governments, apart from Navotas, having moderate-risk ADARs.
