The National Housing Authority (NHA) is making it easier for beneficiaries to pay their housing amortization with the addition of 7-Eleven as a payment option. This partnership with CSB Bayad Center Inc. complements the existing agreement with Maya Philippines Inc., allowing for flexible payment methods through apps and convenience stores.

The National Housing Authority ( NHA ) has partnered with payment solutions company CSB Bayad Center Inc. to enable housing amortization payments nationwide at convenience store 7-Eleven . This builds on the agency’s existing agreement with financial technology company Maya Philippines Inc., which allows beneficiaries to settle payments through their app, providing flexibility in time and location.

Such expanded payment options aim to improve NHA’s network by offering beneficiaries alternative methods to meet their financial obligations without the need to visit District or Regional Offices. These efforts align with Republic Act (RA) 8792, the Electronic Commerce Act of 2000, which requires government agencies to accept electronic payments. According to the NHA, the initiative also aligns with RA 11032, the Ease of Doing Business and the Efficient Government Service Delivery Act of 2018, which advocates for simpler and more efficient public service procedures. The agency has integrated digital payment systems as part of its initiatives to modernize operations and enhance service delivery
