The National Housing Authority (NHA) collaborates with Bayad Inc. to allow homeowners to pay their amortization through 7-Eleven branches nationwide, streamlining their financial obligations.

To enhance convenience for its beneficiaries, the National Housing Authority (NHA) partnered with Bayad Inc. to process amortization payments for homeowners through its 7-Eleven branches nationwide. NHA General Manager Joeben Tai said the initiative strengthens the agency’s payment network, allowing beneficiaries to fulfill their financial obligations without needing to visit district or regional offices. This service expands on NHA’s existing partnership with Maya Philippines Inc.

, which uses the Maya app to facilitate payments anytime, anywhere. Tai emphasized that payment digitalization is a key part of the agency’s modernization and streamlining strategy. By making payments more accessible, the NHA aims to help beneficiaries settle their obligations faster, bringing them closer to fully owning their awarded homes. The initiative aligns with the government’s digitalization goals under Republic Act 8792, also known as the Electronic Commerce Act of 2000, which mandates all government agencies to accept electronic payments. It also adheres to Republic Act 11032, or the Ease of Doing Business and Efficient Government Service Delivery Act of 2018, which requires agencies to improve their transactions to better serve the public. The NHA’s partnership with Bayad Inc. and 7-Eleven underscores its commitment to improving services and streamlining processes, making transactions easier and more efficient for thousands of housing beneficiaries across the country
