ZAMBOANGA CITY – Mayor John Dalipe led the mass oath-taking of more than 1,500 newly elected barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan officials in this city on Wednesday, November 8.

ZAMBOANGA City Mayor John Dalipe, Rep. Khymer Olaso, Vice Mayor Pinpin Pareja, DILG City Officer Ginagene Vaño-Uy, and city councilors lead the oath-taking of more than 1,500 barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan officials who won in the elections on October 30 on Wednesday, November 8.

Dalipe enjoined them to let the people’s trust guide them in their service as they begin their three-year service as leaders of their barangays. “As you take your oaths today, remember the trust that the people have placed in you, and let that trust be your guiding light,” said Dalipe.
