NEWLY appointed Central Visayas police director, Police Brigadier General Redrico Maranan , paid a courtesy call to Cebu City Mayor Raymond Alvin Garcia on Monday, January 27, 2025.Maranan was accompanied by Cebu City Police Office chief, Police Colonel Enrico Figueroa. He praised the mayor for his unwavering support for the police force.
While the Police Regional Office-Central Visayas is conducting an overall review of its personnel, Maranan has tasked Figueroa with evaluating CCPO officers, particularly those who have served for over a year in their current posts.Maranan said that personnel changes will be performance-based, with those who neglect their duties being replaced to ensure efficiency.
