Bernard Banac allayed security concerns in Negros, saying there is nothing to worry about. "Ang situation sa Negros Oriental ay under control. Wala pong dapat ikabahala ang ating mga kababayan. Maaari po silang tumuloy sa kanilang normal na gawain araw-araw; kalakalan, at turismo," he told reporters. Concerns over the security in Negros were raised following the brutal killing of 4 policemen in Ayungon town, Negros Oriental last July 18.Last Saturday, police arrested 2 suspected rebels allegedly linked to the killing of the 4 policemen.-with a report from Zhander Cayabyab, ABS-CBN News
