AN OVERSEAS Filipino Worker from Sitio Camay-an, Barangay Cadiz Viejo, Cadiz City, Negros Occidental, is still missing after the Hamas extremist militants attacked Israel during the celebration of a music festival near the Gaza Strip on Saturday, October 7.The OFW identified was Loreta Lorie Villarin Alacre, 49, a Filipino caregiver in Tel Aviv.
The Philippine Embassy in Tel Aviv reported that a Filipino may have been one of the casualties in the attacks on Israel by the militant Hamas group.An embassy official said a DNA test on the body would be made to determine if it is of the female caregiver, who, according to a family member, has been missing since the outbreak of violence.Embassy officials are in contact with the missing caregiver’s sister, who was among the 23 Filipinos rescued from Hamas militants.
