THE National Electrification Administration has appealed for an extension of the payment deadlines of electric cooperatives to power generation and transmission companies for an indefinite period.

Power co-ops utilized their collections from February 26 to March 24 to settle their bills during the first cycle, and the current concern of the ECs is the billing period covering February 26 to March 25, which is due on April 25.
