Actress and singer Nadine Lustre, who first gained prominence as a member of Pop Girls, is back to dancing — this time, for the silver screen.
that she “really wanted” to star in Indak, an upcoming film about an island girl that gets recruited to join a dance troupe that competes internationally.[Translation: She no longer needs to be taught how to dance.]
But Lustre said the training for the dance scenes in the movie was gruelling, as they spent a month to prepare for the shoot. “First few weeks that we were training for it, everyone was so tired — I had anxiety because I couldn't get the steps because it was so fast. The music is good, but it’s just the movement and all the steps,” Lustre said.
