Hallstrom Close in Northbridge was ranked number one with a median house price estimate of $7,483,000 and an upper range of $9,012,400.The tightly held cul-de-sac overlooks Middle Harbour while all houses on the street have a private jetty.
The street features the heritage-listed birthplace and childhood home of infamous Australian poet Dorothea Mackellar, which was last sold in 1991 for $1.74m. Suburbtrends founder Kent Lardner said the ranking revealed the level of wealth around Sydney Harbour as well as in beachside suburbs – including lifestyle towns away from the hustle and bustle of the city.
