BANNERED by Mojdeh siblings Madi, Mikhael Jasper and Micaela Jasmine, the Behrouz Elite Swimming Team made huge splash in the opening day of the 2024 PAI National Age Group Championships, winning 12 gold, nine silver and two bronze medals at the Teofilo Yldefonso Swimming Pool in Malate, Manila.Madi, an Immaculate Heart of Mary College-Parañaque student, shone the brightest with four golds and one silver in Class A boys' 13-year division.

On the other hand, World Junior Championships veteran and Philippine national junior record holder Micaela Jasmine made her presence felt by claiming one gold and a couple of silvers in Class A girls' 17-over event.Micaela Jasmine dominated the 100-m breaststroke in 1:16.62 then placed second in 100-m butterfly and 200-m backstroke.The 18-year-old Filipino Iranian beauty is coming off a two-bronze medal finish in the 13th Asean Schools Games held in Da Nang, Vietnam, recently.
