MANILA, Philippines — World Junior Championships semifinalist Micaela Jasmine Mojdeh wrapped up her junior career in style, securing two silver medals in the 46th Southeast Asian Age Group Swimming Championships held at the Assumption University Suvarnabhumi Campus swimming pool in Bangkok, Thailand.

On the final day of the competition, Mojdeh , a Behrouz Elite Swimming Team standout, added another silver in the girls' 16-18 200m butterfly.She wound up second with a time of two minutes and 21.43 seconds — behind gold medalist Thi Thuy Trang Le of Vietnam who submitted 2:18.55.Thailand's Thitirat Charoensup secured the bronze in 2:26.22. Mojdeh earlier won a silver in the 100m butterfly event . 'I'm happy to contribute two silver medals to the Philippine team.

'But I'm still grateful to my coaches who were very patient with me in training. To coach Sherwyn, coach Jek, coach Roxanne and coach Jeremiah. To my parents , who sacrifice sleep to accompany me to training. And to my teammates, who make training enjoyable,' Mojdeh added.Mojdeh will head to Seattle, Washington to continue training under renowned world-class coaches as she's gearing up for qualifying event for the 2025 Southeast Asian Games.
