The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority reminded the public on Wednesday that barangay quarantine passes are not for use in quarantine checkpoints along national highways.
“If you’re from Makati and you’re going to Quezon City to buy goods, it is not reasonable,” said Pialago in an interview with CNN Philippines’ Ruth Cabal. Other workers with IDs issued by the Inter-Agency Task Force on Emerging Infectious Diseases are also permitted to pass through quarantine checkpoints.
