The Mimaropa region has successfully maintained peace and order throughout the election period, with no reported election-related violent incidents. This accomplishment is attributed to intensified security measures implemented by the Police Regional Office 4B.

The Mimaropa region has remained peaceful and free from election-related violent incidents since the start of the election period on January 12, according to a police official. Police Brig. Gen. Roger L. Quesada, the director of the Police Regional Office 4B, attributed this accomplishment to intensified security measures across the region. These measures include increased police visibility and the establishment of numerous checkpoints in strategic locations.

Quesada stated that the presence of nearly 10,000 checkpoints has been crucial in maintaining a peaceful campaign period and preventing any untoward incidents. He emphasized that the police are collaborating with the Commission on Elections (Comelec) and other stakeholders to sustain this peaceful environment throughout the entire election period. According to data from the police's Regional Election Monitoring Action Center (REMAC), no suspected or validated election-related incidents have been recorded in Mimaropa since January 12. This region encompasses the provinces of Oriental and Occidental Mindoro, Marinduque, Romblon, and Palawan. To further secure the election period, Quesada stated that police forces in the region have strictly enforced the Comelec gun ban, resulting in the confiscation of two small firearms, eight rounds of ammunition, and six other prohibited weapons, including replicas, improvised weapons, and bladed instruments. Apart from enhancing security measures, Quesada also directed his men to intensify monitoring of electoral fraud, particularly all forms of vote-buying. He stressed that vote-buying undermines the integrity of the election process and urged the public to remain vigilant and report any instances of such activity to hold violators accountable
