Police Regional Office-Central Visayas (PRO 7) chief lauded the collaborative efforts of security forces and volunteers for ensuring the smooth and peaceful conduct of Fiesta Señor celebrations. No major security concerns were reported, and a 52.89% decrease in focus crimes was observed compared to the previous year. The success was attributed to thorough safety protocols, proactive measures, and enhanced police presence.

THE Police Regional Office- Central Visayas chief praised all police personnel, the Armed Forces of the Philippines , Bureau of Fire Protection , Naval Forces Central , and force multipliers for the successful and peaceful conduct of the Fiesta Señor activities.Police Brigadier General Redrico Maranan, the task force commander for Fiesta Señor, recognized the sacrifices made by the police, along with other AFP units and force multipliers, to ensure the event’s success.

We recorded zero significant incidents during this period,” said Maranan.Meanwhile, the eight focus crimes during the Sinulog period reportedly decreased by 52.89 percent, with 64 incidents recorded compared to the previous year.From January 11 to 21, 2024, 121 incidents were reported, while this year, from January 9 to 19, only 57 incidents were recorded.
