Pinawalang-sala ng Sandiganbayan si dating Vice President Jejomar Binay, ang anak niyang si Jejomar Erwin Binay Jr., na dating mayor ng Makati, at iba pang akusado, sa mga kasong graft at falsification kaugnay sa pagtatayo ng Makati Science High School mula 2007 hanggang 2013.
Sa 86-pahinang resolusyon na ipinasa noong Disyembre 2024, pinagbigyan ng Sandiganbayan Special Fifth Division, ang demurrer to evidence na hiniling ng mga akusado, na naging daan para ibasura na ang 13 kasong kriminal para sa graft and falsification na isinampa laban sa kanila.
Taong 2018 nang inakusahan ng Ombudsman sina Binay at ang anak niyang si Binay Jr. kaugnay sa umano’y maanomalyang proseso sa procurement process sa pagtatayo ng Makati Science Building. Sinabi rin ng Sandiganbayan na hindi maaaring ikonsiderang testigo si dating Senador Antonio Trillanes IV, dahil naroroon siya bilang senador noong panahon na nagsasagawa ng mga pagdinig ng Blue Ribbon Committee ukol sa naturang usapin laban sa mga akusado.
