A 33-year-old Melbourne Victory fan involved in the shocking pitch invasion has been found to have fled the country shortly after the match and have already been subject to a 10-year ban from A-League matches.
Victorian Police have been strenuously investigating the shocking pitch invasion which saw 150 people storm Melbourne’s AAMI Park on December 17.

Picture: Darrian Traynor/Getty Images “Investigators are also aware the male, who will be arrested and interviewed for violent disorder and discharging a missile upon his return to the country, was at the time subject to a ten-year ban from attending A-League games,” Victoria Police said in a statement.
Others from the unidentified 11 are believed to be responsible for serious offences including throwing broken chairs, poles and bottles at police during the riot.including 32 for a range of offences, including assault, violent disorder, criminal damage, riotous behaviour, and discharging missiles.The protest began in the 20th minute and was over the Australian Professional Leagues' controversial decision to hand Sydney the grand final for the next three years.
