Mayor Lacuna, ex-Marikina rep. Quimbo join Lakas-CMD

MANILA, Philippines — Manila Mayor Honey Lacuna and former Marikina second district representative Romero Federico Quimbo joined the political party Lakas-Christian Muslim Democrats (Lakas-CMD).

MANILA, Philippines — Manila Mayor Honey Lacuna and former Marikina second district representative Romero Federico Quimbo joined the political party Lakas-Christian Muslim Democrats .The party's president, Speaker Ferdinand Martin Romualdez, administered the oath separately to Lacuna and Quimbo at the Social Hall of the Speaker's Office at the House of Representatives.

'In a show of solidarity and support, Manila Vice Mayor Yul Servo and 20 members of the City Council accompanied Lacuna to the oath-taking rites', according to a statement.Manila Reps. Irwin Tieng , Joel Chua , Edward Maceda , Rolando Valeriano , and Bienvenido Abante Jr. also witnessed the event.
