President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. will welcome and award incentives to two-time Olympic champion Carlos Yulo and other Filipino Olympians in Malacañang on Tuesday, August 13, the Presidential Communications Office said on Friday. The Filipino athletes who competed at the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris, France, will arrive on Tuesday afternoon and will be welcomed by their families at the Villamor Airbase in Pasay City.
The parade will culminate at Malacañan Palace,” the PCO said.A special program will be held at the Palace, where Marcos will present incentives to the athletes in recognition of their ''extraordinary contributions to Philippine sports and their stellar performance during the 2024 Paris Olympics,'' the PCO said.
