He recalled that early this month, Karding was first categorized as super typhoon, placing several areas in Luzon under Signal No. 5 and leaving a trail of destruction in the provinces of Nueva Ecija, Bulacan, Tarlac, Pampanga and Zambales. "But once again, I think the key to all of this is watch it very closely because may bagong feature ang mga bagyo ngayon."

"They estimate now that 10,000 people will be affected by this Neneng. So, those are the kind of numbers that we are preparing for," Marcos said.
