President Ferdinand Marcos on Tuesday assured swift government action to aid areas in Luzon and Visayas ravaged by Typhoon Enteng.
Additionally, P65.56 million in standby funds and P2.60 billion worth of food and non-food items have been prepared for further relief efforts. He emphasized the ongoing efforts of rescue teams, noting that more than 63,000 individuals have been safely evacuated to 452 evacuation centers. The president said more than 1,700 pieces of equipment have been prepositioned in regions to ensure that roads remain accessible.
