The Management Association of the Philippines (MAP) has identified its top seven concerns for 2025, including Corruption, Education, and Ease of Doing Business, among others.

The Management Association of the Philippines ( MAP ) has outlined its top seven priorities for 2025, focusing on critical issues impacting the nation's business landscape. These concerns, identified through a survey conducted in the fourth quarter of 2024, reflect the collective anxieties and objectives of MAP 's membership.

The seven key areas of focus for 2025 are: corruption, education, the economy, ease of doing business, climate change, cybersecurity, and interactions with Local Government Units (LGUs).Addressing these concerns directly, MAP President Alfredo S. Panlilio emphasized the organization's commitment to actively participating in programs led by the Anti-Red Tape Authority to combat corruption and streamline business processes. Furthermore, Panlilio outlined four strategic thrusts that will guide MAP's efforts throughout 2025. These thrusts encompass Member Engagement, Country Competitiveness, ESG and Shared Prosperity, and Investing in the Youth. To foster meaningful engagement, MAP will ensure that topics discussed at general membership meetings (GMMs) remain relevant to members' needs and the evolving economic landscape. The organization plans to hold GMMs outside Metro Manila, extending its reach to members in the Visayas and Mindanao. MAP's commitment to country competitiveness will involve advocating for vital policy reforms aimed at eliminating corruption, improving ease of doing business, ensuring food security through agricultural productivity, and creating a conducive environment for both local and foreign investors. The ultimate goal is to attract investments that create diverse job opportunities for Filipinos. On ESG and Shared Prosperity, MAP will continue to promote environmental, social, and governance principles, fostering inclusive growth and driving sustainable practices. Finally, MAP will continue its investment in the youth by advocating for educational, health, and wellness programs that combat malnutrition and child stunting, ultimately aiming to equip the next generation with the skills and knowledge needed for a prosperous future.
