MANILA - Manila Water Co on Thursday said it bagged the original proponent status to build and operate an integrated waste management facility in Marikina City.
Manila Water Total Solutions Corp submitted an unsolicited proposal, through a joint venture arrangement, for the treatment and processing of solid wastes of Marikina, the water distributor told the stock exchange.
"The certificate granted by the City of Marikina authorizes the commencement of detailed negotiations with respect to the terms and conditions of the project," the statement said.
