Chief Justice Lucas P. Bersamin is the keynote speaker in the Legal Education Summit (LES) at the Manila Hotel starting at 9 a.m., July 31.
The LES, scheduled until August 1, is aimed at determining the problems encountered in legal education and formulating solutions to address them.
In the Manila Hotel summit, Supreme Court Associate Justice Alexander G. Gesmundo, chair of the organizing committee, will give the welcome remarks. Also to speak during the summit are Legal Education Board Commissioner Abelardo Domondon and University of the Philippines College of Law Dean Fides Cordero Tan .“The impact of legal education on the lives of our people is far reaching, and cannot be taken for granted. The law itself pervades so much of public policy and human affairs.
