The local chief executive said selected students will receive an educational assistance amounting to P5,000 to help them as face-to-face classes resumed.“Ang bawat isang Batang Maynila na nandidito ay makakatanggap ng limang libo sa ilalim ng programang Educational Assistance program ,” Lacuna said during her speech.
“Ito po ay binibigay natin sa mga piling piling mga magaaral nang sa ganon po ay makatulong kami sa inyong pang araw araw na gastusin lalo na at nalalapit na po ang ating face to face classes ,” she added.“Alam ko po hindi ito sapat pero kahit papano meron kayong mabubunot, nang sa gayon po ay mabawasan ang iyong mga gastusin ,” Lacuna said.
