Manila rolls out 2 COVID-19 mobile testing centers

The city government of Manila sent out two mobile COVID-19 testing facilities that would ramp up its free mass testing in its communities. | CMarquezINQ

In a statement, the Manila Public Information Office said one of the mobile trucks was dispatched along Nepomuceno Street in Barangay 97, Tondo while the other was parked in Barangay 836, Pandacan.The local government said the mobile truck uses serology testing machines that can collect 100 blood samples daily. Members of Manila Health Department, Manila Barangay Bureau and Manila Disaster Risk Reduction will conduct the tests, the Manila PIO added.

The two mobile trucks will be deployed to two different barangays in the capital city per day to intensify community-based testing, the PIO said.
