Durham police say a 36-year-old man from Clarington has died following a collision in Oshawa.

On Thursday, just after 8:00 p.m., officers were called to a collision involving a motorcycle at the intersection of Taunton Road and Arborwood Drive. They say a 2014 Chevrolet Cruze was travelling eastbound on Taunton Road when the driver attempted to make a left hand turn onto Arborwood Drive. Officers say a 2020 Honda motorcycle was travelling westbound on Taunton Road and struck the Chevrolet.The driver of the Chevrolet and passenger were taken to a local hospital with minor injuries.
