Rico Blanco has released a new song,"Happy Feelin" – the second to come out of his home studio as the artist continues to write music while under lockdown.
The song has a distinct rockabilly feel reminiscent of The Beach Boys and The Beatles, but with the former Rivermaya frontman's own distinct sound. It recalls endless summers and long drives to the beach as Rico repeatedly sings to the earworm of a chorus. It's a much brighter, happier track that picks up from the more subdued single that preceded it,"This Too Shall Pass" released in May, Rico's first solo single in 4 years.Listen to the song here:
