Parañaque City Mayor Eric Olivarez renewed calls for residents to keep observing the minimum public health protocols and receive the Covid-19 vaccines in order to prevent the spread of the virus in the city. ManilaBulletin

The mayor posted the reminder after the Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Disease placed Metro Manila under Alert Level 1 from April 15 to 30.

Olivarez said residents, especially those who are still unvaccinated, may coordinate with their respective barangay health centers to be inoculated against Covid-19. The City Health Office has also published an advisory stating that the general adult population, aged 18 years old and above, are now eligible to receive a second booster shot, after its approval by the Department of Health .related stories
