Jose Rizal University (JRU) aims to rebound in the NCAA Season 100 volleyball tournament. The Lady Bombers seek to end their Final Four drought, while the men's team hopes to improve after a challenging previous season.

Jose Rizal University (JRU) is aiming to revitalize its performance in the NCAA Season 100 wo men's volleyball tournament after experiencing two consecutive seasons of missing the Final Four. The Lady Bombers achieved a commendable fourth-place finish in Season 97 with a 5-4 win-loss record. However, the subsequent two seasons proved to be significantly more challenging under the guidance of head coach Mia Tioseco.

In Seasons 98 and 99, the Mandaluyong-based squad struggled to secure victories, managing only one win each season.Despite these setbacks, JRU harbors optimism for the upcoming season, particularly with the return of several seasoned players who bring valuable experience. Jerry Lyn Laurente, a standout setter from Season 99, is rejoining the team, alongside Kayla Jasareno, Gayle Batara, Patricia Anne Del Pilar, Cherish Dayame, and Nicole Grace Deala. Yanyan Aloña and Maliey Amante are also returning to bolster the JRU ranks. Adding to the squad's firepower are Julianna Canoy, Alyanna Detablan, Lei Martinez, Trixie Rostro, and Angelica Mae Yongco, who will contribute to JRU's ambition of securing another semi-finals berth. The men's team also shares this aspiration, aiming to elevate their performance after a disappointing single-win season. However, they will face the absence of one of their key scorers, Ken Daynata, who graduated last year. JRU's men's roster for the current season comprises eight rookies: Paolo Barrientos, Jonathan Calumpang, Raphael Datig, Prince De Lemios, Matthew Malillin, Xyrone Montemayor, Harry Jim Ocay, and Al-Jecradin Unding. Bryle Alipan emerges as the most experienced player, supported by returning veterans Aristotle Carbon, Klause Dais, Charlie Dela Cruz, Jake Fernandez, Maki Guanzon, Dhen Henry Sual, and Neil Zapico.
