If you’re interested but have yet to check out the T2 in the metal, you’ll want to drop by the 4x4 Expo Philippines this weekend at Parklinks in Pasig City.From September 27 to 29, the outdoor enthusiast community will gather at Parklinks for a showcase of 4x4 vehicles, overlanding rigs, camping setups, and outdoor equipment. Just be warned that budol is real, so you might end your visit with less money than you started with, but hey, that’s what 13th month pay is for.
Launched in March this year, the T2 is Jetour’s best representative for this gathering. It’s powered by a 2.0-liter turbopetrol engine that generates 254hp and 390Nm of torque. A Magna seven-speed wet-type dual-clutch transmission pushes power to all four wheels, with the Smart XWD system automatically switching between four- and two-wheel-drive modes depending on driving conditions and available grip.
Jetour also offers the T2 with a Terrain package, which includes an exterior ladder and container. But the beauty of going to the 4x4 Expo is that you can check out various aftermarket upgrades for your future off-roader, and even see how they look fitted on the display vehicles.
