“Sleep With Me,” a queer series starring Janine Gutierrez and Lovi Poe, bagged the Audience Award for Best Episodic in the Outfest LGBTQ Film Festival in Los Angeles. Outfest is a non-profit entertainment organization that produces film festivals which promote LGBTQ filmmakers and projects.The actresses were elated as they sent their congratulatory messages to the series’ director Samantha Lee as well as the production team, via their respective Instagram pages today, July 28.
“Couldn’t be prouder of Team [‘Sleep With Me’] for this Audience Choice Award for Best Episodic in the recent [Outfest] awards! Congratulations to our girl on fire [Samantha Lee],” Poe said. “Can’t wait for our series to show on Aug. 15.”
