MTV has announced the nominees for this year’s Video Music Awards, with Kendrick Lamar, Lil Nas X, and Jack Harlow leading the pack with seven nods each. VMA
There is some intense competition for the show’s most prestigious award, Video of the Year. In the running are “Woman” by Doja Cat, “Way 2 Sexy” by Drake feat. Future and Young Thug, “Shivers” by Ed Sheeran, “As It Was” by Harry Styles, “Industry Baby” by Lil Nas X and Jack Harlow, “Brutal” by Olivia Rodrigo, and “All Too Well” by Taylor Swift.
Meanwhile, fans are excited about the Best K-Pop category. The nominees are “Yet To Come ” by BTS, “LOCO” by ITZY, “LALISA” by LISA, “HOT” by SEVENTEEN, “MANIAC” by Stray Kids, and “The Feels,” by TWICE. The full list of nominees is posted on the VMAs’ Twitter, and fan voting has started on vote.mtv.com.
Held annually, the MTV VMAs honor the industry’s best in the music video medium. This year’s ceremony will be held at New Jersey’s Prudential Center on August 28, Sunday.
