An Intertropical Convergence Zone affecting Southern Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao will bring rain showers over several areas on Monday, PAGASA said in its weather forecast. At 3 a.m., the LPA is estimated to be located at 500 km east of Borongan City, Eastern Samar and is embedded along the ITCZ.
"Sa data na binigay ng PAGASA, mababa sa ngayon ang tsansa ng LPA na maging isang bagyo. Pero posible raw na magtagal ito ng dalawa hanggang tatlong araw," GMA weather presenter Anjo Pertierra of GMA Integrated News Weather Center said on Unang Balita on Monday. Visayas, Mimaropa, the Bicol Region, Aurora and Quezon will have cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms due to the ITCZ. Flash floods or landslides may result due to moderate to at times heavy rains.
Metro Manila and the rest of the country meanwhile will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to the ITCZ and localized thunderstorms.Coastal waters will be slight to moderate throughout the country.
