The point that was made during the forum was that the Philippines, despite being the 12th largest country in the world by population, is the 35th largest GHG emitter, accounting for only 0.48 percent of the global total. For comparison, China, the US and India, the top three, account for 49.16 percent combined, with 30.1 percent of the global total of GHG emissions coming from China.
