Presidential candidate and Manila Mayor Francisco “Isko Moreno” Domagoso on Wednesday, April 6, offered himself anew as an alternative candidate, saying “he is available” if the Filipinos are already tired of the political scuffle between the Marcoses and the Aquinos.“Napapansin ko tuwing presidential election, laging usapan lang ng pula at dilaw, ‘yung magkaaway na pamilya o grupo. Talagang nagkaka-personalan na. Hindi pa rin nagbago ‘yung away ng pula at dilaw ,” he said.
Domagoso previously said the families of Marcos and the Aquinos have been in power for 39 years and that Filipinos have already waited long enough.The Manila mayor said he wants to offer peace of mind to the Filipino people, saying he would focus on them and not on the fights among political families.
“Basta ako, ang isang assurance ko sa inyo , I get things done,” Domagoso said, citing the things that he had done in Manila.
