West Pubnico volunteer firefighter Lucien d’Entremont is raising funds for lung health. He will be participating in the upcoming Stair Heroes Challenge. CONTRIBUTEDWEST PUBNICO, NS – Doing good comes in all shapes and sizes.
A clever fundraiser for the non-profit, the event both highlights an occupation which depends on healthy lungs and raises needed money for the non-profit dedicated to lung health and care . Each Stair Heroes participant pays a small registration fee and counts on their crew for sponsorship. The indoor event is designed for all ages and will include a canteen, bouncy castle, music and more. However, the main event is the big climb. Racers carry chips to capture their time. Start times are allocated. A champion will be crowned but really, for Stair Heroes, everybody is a winner.
