Chinese residents and expats are rushing to travel websites after authorities announced the lifting of restrictions on flights in and out of the country.

Sky News Asia Correspondent Brent O’Halloran said this is a massive shift in policy, as it has been challenging to enter China for the past three years.

“Visas for non-essential travellers was near impossible to obtain, and those who were able to get in had to undergo incredibly strict and long quarantines,” Mr O’Halloran said.
