The Kingdom of Jesus Christ has cried foul over the excavation allegedly conducted by authorities at the basement of Jose Maria College Building inside the compound in Davao City . KOJC ’s legal counsel, Atty. Israelito Torreon, said a photo he received showed the police digging a tunnel at the basement of the JMC Building.The alleged digging has reportedly reached eight meters deep and Torreon said might affect the stability of the building.
Torreon called on Philippine National Police chief General Rommel Marbil to allow them to enter the basement to confirm the excavation.He also questioned if the supposed digging is still covered by the service of the arrest warrant against KOJC leader, Pastor Apollo Quiboloy, and if the police have “reasonable belief” that he is in the compound.Eleven days into the operation, police have yet to find Quiboloy and other accused in the alleged trafficking case.
