Umabot sa mahigit 150 Pilipino umano ang humingi ng tulong matapos na makasama ang kani-kanilang tirahan sa mga nasunog sa wildfires sa southern California, ayon kay Consul General Adelito Angelito Cruz.
Sinabi ni Cruz na nakikipag-ugnayan ang consulate general sa Los Angeles sa Filipino Workers Center, na tumatanggap ng mga tawag para sa mga humihingi ng tulong.
Mayroon umanong pagkain, inumin, at iba pang pangangailangan ang lahat ng nasa mga evacuation center sa California. Tumutulong sa pag-apula sa apoy sa Los Angeles ang mga bumbero mula sa pitong estado ng Amerika, pati ang mula sa Canada at Mexico.
