A 33-YEAR-OLD habal-habal driver was rushed to the hospital after being stabbed by an unidentified man on N. Bacalso Avenue, Barangay Kinasang-an, Cebu City around 3:40 a.m. Saturday, February 8, 2025.The victim was identified as Alfred Casurra Pareja, a native of Surigao del Norte but currently residing in Barangay Mambaling, Cebu City.
A motorist captured the incident on video, initially thinking it was just a fistfight, but the footage clearly showed the suspect using a bladed weapon to stab the victim multiple times.The victim sustained several stab wounds to his abdomen. The suspect immediately fled towards the inner area of Barangay Kinasang-an.Pareja was first taken to Ace Hospital but was later transferred to Cebu City Medical Center.
