The southwest monsoon or habagat will bring cloudy skies with scattered rain showers over the western sections of Southern Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao on Saturday, PAGASA reported.The weather bureau is also monitoring a tropical cyclone outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility .

MIMAROPA, Western Visayas, Negros Island Region, Zamboanga Peninsula, Basilan, Sulu, and Tawi-Tawi will have cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms due to the southwest monsoon with flash floods or landslides possibly occurring due to moderate to at times heavy rains.
