Comelec Commissioner Rowena Guanzon dared Ronald Cardema to “go ahead” with his threat to file an impeachment complaint against her. | FMOrellanaINQ
In an interview at ABS-CBN News Channel also on Monday, Guanzon said that filing an impeachment complaint will open a Pandora’s Box. She also said she doubts that such a complaint would move forward.
“He’s going to open a Pandora’s Box when he files an impeachment complaint because I’m gonna have to say… Well, all of you, you all know who you are. You also called me for favors. Oh, did you pay me? Oh ano? In tagalog: Oh sige, magkabukingan na tayo,” Guanzon said. “Is Congress going to allow him to do that? Is the impeachment complaint going to prosper? What is the status of his appeal in the Comelec now that he has already attacked the institution? Does he expect to win the vote if I inhibit, because that is his strategy, for me to inhibit,” she added. /kga
