Despite fresh allegations hurled against her, COMELEC Commissioner Rowena Guanzon stresses she will not inhibit from the case of Duterte Youth party-list chair Ronald Cardema.
Cardema in an earlier press briefing claimed the poll executive attempted to extort ₱2-million from Duterte Youth in exchange for the party-list’s accreditation in the 2019 polls.
The commissioner, in a series of tweets, meanwhile urged Cardema to “study his case and get a good lawyer.”, impeachment? All intimidation tactics to coerce me to reverse my vote,” Guanzon noted.
