Treasurer Jim Chalmers says the Albanese government is looking for other ways to provide “responsible, targeted cost of living relief”.
“And what that means is that we can take some of the edge off these high cost of living that people are experiencing.
“We understand that people are under the pump, and I think they understand that we will try and do what we can within the constraints of a budget full of pressures.”
