Treasurer Jim Chalmers will be travelling to Washington in the United States for a series of high-level meetings ahead of his upcoming budget.
Dr Chalmers and Reserve Bank Governor Philip Lowe will depart tomorrow for the G20 Finance Ministers’ and Central
Bank Governors’ meetings amid calls to tighten spending to ease inflation and the fallout of major bank collapses.
