Bong Go is urging the Philippine Health Insurance Corp. to launch a comprehensive education and awareness campaign for its Konsulta syong Sulit at Tama Package .Go's appeal was in response to data indicating that only 5 million Filipinos have utilized the Konsulta Package .This number represents just a small fraction of the total Philippine population that is supposed to benefit from the preventive care initiative.
Go suggested that aside from raising awareness, more PhilHealth-accredited health facilities must be prioritized, especially in grassroots communities, to broaden access to the package.For example, Super Health Centers, which Go has consistently advocated for, are designed to focus on primary care, consultation and early detection, further strengthening the health care sector in the country, especially in grassroots communities.
