MANILA Philippines — Tropical Depression 'Gener' will likely exit the country either Tuesday night or early Wednesday morning, the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said. Pagasa said in its 5 p.m. bulletin that only four provinces in Northern Luzon remained under Signal No.1.They were Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur, La Union, and the western portion of Pangasinan in Luzon.
Moving westward, the center of the eye of the tropical depression was estimated at 235 kilometers west-northwest of Baguio City while packing maximum sustained winds of 55 kilometers per hour near the center and gustiness of up to 70kph, the state-run weather agency said.Outside the PAR region, Gener will continue westward over the West Philippine Sea for the remainder of the forecast period, it added.
