Ariel’s ‘Cycles of Care’ provides free laundry services to 13,000 families affected by Super Typhoon CarinaSuper Typhoon Carina caused severe flooding in the Greater Manila Area, submerging many neighborhoods and forcing thousands to evacuate.
The typhoon brought torrential rains and strong winds, resulting in power outages, water disruptions, and damage to homes. Approximately 4.8 million people were affected, with 108,000 still in evacuation centers as of this week. “Ariel’s ‘Cycles of Care’ helps families restore normalcy by providing clean clothes and bedding,” said Ralph Morales, Ariel Philippines Brand Director. The program saw 100 Save5 branches participate, processing over 27,000 washing machine cycles and cleaning more than 216,000 kg of soiled clothing using Ariel Laundry Detergent.Ryan Lim, President of Save5 Laundromat, praised the initiative: “Ariel’s ‘Cycles of Care’ is a meaningful way to support communities affected by the typhoon.
